something I did some time ago, for no particular reason. complete randomness!

Thanks to the model for an equally random session of modelling and sorry for tearing your face- there was no particular reason for doing that either!

Not long after the Christmas break, and just before things started getting really really busy I went out for a walk with an intention to capture the blueness of the evening light. It’s been haunting me since I came across Whistler’s Nocturnes which continue to fascinate me greatly. I’ve been putting away posting my images here and saving them for when I’ll have more time to write about them. I’ve come to a conclusion though, that I will never have more time. So here is the image.

Series to be definitely continued.

1: Veal’s tripe, 2: Lamb’s heart, 3: Ox tail
Ok, so here are the final images from the last project. I previously posted the short gifs I made from the digital files (you can see them here) but these are the proper stuff.
I’m interested in different aspects of food production and consumption as well as in dynamics that exist within the food industry. I find it strange how even such a trivial activity as eating could not escape being drawn into a net of trends and fashions. And so I looked at many different ones: Organic food, Fair Trade, Raw Food, In-vitro meat, From plate-to-paddock, Control Obsession and finally… Offal eating.
I’m trying to think and I can’t actually remember when this was. Some time before the exhibition I suppose… We drove to Whitstables and then to Herne Bay to explore places unknown. How ugly this pier in Herne Bay is! Charmingly ugly. It was a lovely calm day, hence the cliché sea-side-walk-pictures. I like them.
